Quantumbilities Education Limited (operating as Quantumbilities Education Centre or "QB", "we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting and safeguarding the privacy and personal data of our students, parents, guardians, website visitors, and staff.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and secure personal data in compliance with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) of the Laws of Hong Kong.

We only collect personal data that is necessary for our operational, educational, and administrative functions. This may include:

  • Parent/Guardian Information: Full name, contact phone number (including WhatsApp), email address, mailing/billing address, and payment details (cheque, bank transfer, or FPS records).

  • Student Information: Full name, date of birth, gender, current school/grade level, and academic performance or English proficiency data (obtained during our 20–30 minute assessment).

  • Minor Data: Because our students are aged 3–15, we only collect student personal data with the explicit consent of a parent or legal guardian.

  • Website Usage Data: Standard, non-identifiable technical data collected via our website (such as cookies, IP addresses, and browsing behavior) and including Google Analytics, Facebook Pixels, or WhatsApp chat widgets to improve user experience.

2. How We Use Personal Data

We use the collected personal data for the following purposes:

  • Administering student assessments, class placement, and tracking academic progress.

  • Managing course registrations, scheduling, and general center operations.

  • Processing tuition payments, issuing receipts, and handling financial accounting.

  • Communicating administrative updates, emergency closures, and student progress reports via phone, email, or WhatsApp.

  • Complying with statutory, regulatory, or legal obligations imposed by Hong Kong authorities.

3. Direct Marketing

We may occasionally wish to use your contact details to send you updates regarding new courses, holiday programs, Speech Festivals, or special educational events.

  • Your Consent Matters: We will not use your personal data for direct marketing unless we have obtained your explicit, opt-in consent.

  • Opt-Out Anytime: You have the right to opt-out of receiving marketing communications at any time by contacting us directly or clicking "unsubscribe" on our digital communications.

  • We love to share positive progress, happy moments and successes with our online community via photos and videos. If you do not consent to photos or videos being taken of your child and/or their work, progress, or milestones then we ask that you please submit written confirmation of this by Email to info@qb-education.com

4. Disclosure and Transfer of Data

We treat all personal data as strictly confidential. We do not sell or rent your data to third parties. We will only disclose or transfer personal data to:

  • Third-party service providers who assist us in our operations (e.g., secure IT support, payment processors, or website hosting platforms) under strict confidentiality agreements.

  • Government bodies, law enforcement, or regulatory agencies where required by Hong Kong law.

We implement robust physical, electronic, and managerial measures to secure your data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.

  • Retention: We only retain personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, or to meet legal and accounting requirements. .
